By accessing or using Daresney ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

These Terms apply to all users, including students, parents, tutors, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

Daresney is an online standardized test preparation platform designed for students in Lebanon and the MENA region. Our services include:

• Video lessons covering Math, Reading, and Writing
• Practice quizzes and full-length practice tests
• AI-powered tutoring assistance
• Progress tracking and performance analytics
• Live tutoring sessions (where available)

3. Account Registration

To access our services, you must:

• Create an account with accurate and complete information
• Be at least 14 years old (or have parental consent if younger)
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Pricing

Our subscription plans and pricing are displayed on our Pricing page. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

4.3 Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial for new users. No credit card is required to start your trial. At the end of the trial period, you may choose to subscribe to continue accessing premium features.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

When using Daresney, you agree NOT to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Copy, distribute, or resell our content without permission
• Use automated tools to scrape or download content
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access restrictions
• Upload malicious content or interfere with the platform's operation
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Daresney, including but not limited to video lessons, practice questions, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Daresney or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.

7. User Content

If you submit any content to our platform (such as comments, feedback, or study notes), you grant Daresney a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display that content in connection with our services.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not violate the rights of others.

8. Disclaimers

Educational Results: While we strive to provide high-quality test preparation, we cannot guarantee specific score improvements or admission outcomes. Results depend on individual effort, baseline knowledge, and other factors.

Service Availability: Daresney is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Third-Party Content: Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daresney and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the platform.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of Daresney after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
